Outside Sales - Interstate Companies

Interstate Power System’s location in Lakeville Minnesota is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to champion our Atlas Copco line of products as well as Sales and Service for our Diesel engine and Generator business. This role will office out of Lakeville facility and consist of travel throughout Minnesota.

The candidate should have a strong sales background that can lead our efforts to expand the product lines throughout the company. Manage sales leads from branch sales team, call on customers and sell Atlas Copco Products as well as other diesel engine products and services. Work with local sales, parts and service teams on product and customer familiarity, strategically planning how we approach each market to secure new business.

Job Duties:

• Implement strategic and tactical sales plan
• Achieve annual targets for the company
• Manage customer profile and sales reports
• Drive equipment sales growth year over year
• Prospect and win new customers in our market territory
• Travel the state of Minnesota with significant focus on the Twin Cities and Greater Metro area.

Position Requirements:

• Relevant previous product sales experience in BTB, selling compressors, generators, pumps, light towers and diesel engines.
• Experience with Air Compressors, Generators and Pump products not required but highly preferred.
• Experience in cultivating and developing new product lines and sales.
• Parts and Service Sales experience.
• Must be organized, a self-starter and Independent
