About the Job
CLS is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the East of the Sabine River. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our client base through effective territory management and account management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, with a proven track record in outside sales, cold calling, and upselling. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and establishing long-term relationships with clients.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within your assigned territory.
- Conduct cold calls to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
- Manage existing accounts while actively seeking opportunities for upselling additional products or services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to meet the needs of prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong skills in territory management and account management.
- Demonstrated ability in cold calling and generating leads.
- Experience in retail sales or technical sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
- 5 years experience
- Secondary knowledge of pumps and water handling
- History in dredging would be a major plus
