Outside Sales Associate - Snow and Jones

Snow and Jones, Inc. is a premier plumbing and heating wholesale distributor. Since 1952 we have been a family owned business providing the South Shore and Cape Cod with exceptional products and customer service. We currently have an opening for a full time Outside Sales Associate covering the South Coast/495 territory based out of our Middleboro location.

Primary duties:

• Support and maintain customer list of plumbing, heating, and HVAC contractors. This includes working with them on site, by email/phone, and at our stores for product specifications, heating/cooling sizing, stock/special orders, and facilitating warranty/service support.
• Actively seek and develop new accounts in territory.
• Work with HVAC, Sheet Metal, and Sales Managers to identify areas/customers with growth and create and develop action plans.
• Work with manufacturers representatives to present products/support
• Work with branch managers to support branch growth goals and support branch staffing coverage as needed.
• Attend sales team meetings monthly.
• Attend trainings and events as required (1-2x month, local)
• Factory trainings/travel may be 1-2x per year for 2-3 days as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior sales history/track record of success and customer growth
• Plumbing/HVAC knowledge not required but preferred. Any history of mechanical background translates well in this position. 
• Positive customer service attitude- our customer service is above and beyond and is what separates us from our competition.
• Detailed, organized, and dependable. Salesmen make own schedule/call routes in conjunction with Sales Manager.

Position is Monday-Friday.  Our business hours are 7AM-4:30PM.  Occasional Saturdays 8AM-12PM in a rotation (closed Saturdays Memorial Day-Labor Day).  Snow and Jones offers a comprehensive benefits package including personal + vacation time, health and dental insurance, a 401k program, and access to other programs.
