About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Cold calling
- Identify viable leads, manage prospects, and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial, and recycling business to exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Follow up on leads received from Lead Generators within 2 hours and create follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients; follow up with key decision-makers to close sales.
- Stay aware of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's services, lines of business, and pricing structures; offer additional services to existing and potential clients to grow profitable revenue.
- Complete required Customer Service Agreements, reports, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
- Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals, and status of key customer relationships.
- Build relationships and increase company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and community events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs.
