Position: Inside/Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus on generating new business through both in-person and phone-based outreach. You will engage with brokers, insurance agents, accountants, small business owners, and other professionals to introduce our PEO services. Your goal is to build relationships, generate referrals, and promote our comprehensive solutions. Industry experience in insurance or accounting is a significant advantage.
What You'll Do:
In-Person Sales:
Conduct cold calls in person to brokers, insurance agents, accountants, and other professionals to introduce our PEO services.
Visit small businesses to present our solutions, assess their HR needs, and demonstrate how our services can address their challenges.
Build and maintain relationships with potential referral partners within the professional community.
Outbound Sales Calls:
Make outbound calls to brokers, insurance agents, accountants, and small business owners to generate leads, secure referrals, and schedule sales meetings.
Present and sell our PEO services over the phone, offering tailored solutions based on client needs.
Relationship Building:
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with industry professionals and small business owners to establish a consistent pipeline of leads and referrals.
Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to expand your professional network and promote our services.
Sales Strategy and Reporting:
Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including calls, meetings, sales progress, and follow-ups in CRM software.
Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
What You Bring:
Experience:
Proven sales experience, ideally in the PEO, insurance, or accounting industries.
Strong understanding of the PEO sector, with the ability to communicate the value of HR, payroll, and compliance services to potential clients.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport.
Highly self-driven with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office skills.
Additional Requirements:
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation for in-person sales visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Established relationships within the insurance or accounting communities.
Experience in B2B sales, particularly in selling professional services.
