Outreach Specialist - BILINGUAL KOREAN REQUIRED - MedCentric

About this Role

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about serving the underserved community in Los Angeles County. The Outreach Specialist will engage with community partners and develop relationships to drive referral for PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This person educates the community partners, prospective participants, families, and or caregivers about the PACE program. The Outreach Specialist helps keep the frail elderly to live independently at home and continue to enjoy the quality of life.

Expectation for the Role

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, providers, Community-based organizations, senior housing facilities, post-acute facilities, and senior centers to drive referrals for the PACE program
• Collaborate with Enrollment Specialist to ensure successful enrollment
• Organize and conduct events in the community, conduct presentations to promote the PACE program
• Maintain and record all productions/activities in CRM software
• Strictly adhere to DHCS and CM regulations and policies regarding marketing practices for the PACE program
• Develop quarterly marketing plan to generate qualified enrollment
• Collaborate with Center’s management to develop retention strategies
• Attend various community events, healthcare events in crease center’s census
• Identify new opportunities to enhance and improve the referral process and activities
• Flexible to working events in the evening and weekends as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Attributes of an Ideal Candidate

• MUST be Bilingual Korean
• Experience in healthcare or enrollment sales, with a track record of generating business-business or business-to-customer referrals
• Experience working with State/County eligibilities workers
• Proficiency in CRM software preferred
• Experiences working with Frail Elderly
• Highly motivated individual with minimum supervision
• B.S./B.A. Degree in healthcare, Business Administration, or Marketing preferred
• Require a valid CA driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by State law.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish, English/Cantonese, English/Mandarin, English/Vietnamese preferred
• Proof of a valid CA driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by State law
