Job Summary
The Happier Life Project is seeking an experienced and strategic Outreach Coordinator to lead and enhance our community engagement efforts. This key leadership role will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive outreach strategy from the ground up, introducing new systems, and optimizing existing data and processes to align with contractual obligations and organizational goals.
In this position, you will be at the forefront of creating, executing, and refining outreach initiatives that deepen relationships with community partners, expand visibility, and maximize program impact. You will work closely with leadership to develop data-driven plans, establish efficient workflows, and ensure that outreach activities are aligned with the nonprofit’s mission and the requirements of our funders.
Salary Range: $32 - $36 Per Hour Depending on Experience
Reports to: Program Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Development and Execution:
• Design and implement an innovative, scalable outreach strategy that aligns with The Happier Life Project’s mission and contractual goals.
• Create comprehensive outreach plans, identifying key areas for growth and engagement with diverse communities and partners.
• Introduce, develop, and manage systems and processes to streamline outreach efforts, ensuring effective tracking and reporting.
2) System Implementation and Process Optimization:
• Analyze current data, outreach activities, and partner relationships to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Lead the integration of CRM tools, databases, and other systems to centralize outreach operations and enhance efficiency.
• Implement workflow processes to ensure outreach efforts are effectively tracked, evaluated, and adapted based on outcomes.
Community and Partner Engagement:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, including local organizations, businesses, and governmental entities.
• Represent The Happier Life Project at community events, forums, and meetings to expand partnerships and promote the organization’s mission.
• Coordinate outreach events, workshops, and activities that foster community engagement and raise awareness of the nonprofit’s programs.
3) Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Regularly analyze outreach data, including participant engagement, community feedback, and impact metrics, to assess the effectiveness of strategies.
• Provide comprehensive reports to leadership, ensuring that outreach efforts meet contractual obligations and funder requirements.
• Use data insights to refine outreach strategies, maximizing the organization’s reach and influence.
4) Leadership and Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Executive Director and program teams to ensure outreach efforts align with programmatic objectives and community needs.
• Act as a thought leader within the organization, bringing innovative ideas solutions to enhance engagement and program delivery.
• Mentor and support staff involved in outreach activities, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years proven experience in a high-level outreach, community engagement, or strategic planning role, ideally within a nonprofit organization.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute outreach strategies that drive measurable results.
Experience implementing systems, such as CRM tools, to streamline and enhance outreach operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A passion for community service, social impact, and The Happier Life Project’s mission.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with data-driven outreach strategies tied to specific contract or grant requirements.
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Airtable, or similar tools.
Bilingual or multilingual skills (preferred).

9. Carrying Materials: Lifting and transporting outreach materials such as brochures, banners, or event supplies (up to 25 lbs.).
10. Flexible Hours: Availability to work evenings or weekends for community events.
Benefits:
Vacation – Two weeks (10 days) prorated on number of hours worked per week. May not use until six months of continuous employment.
Sick Leave - 40 hours frontloaded upon hire. Not eligible for use until 90 days of continued employment.
