This location is less than a 20-minute drive to Philadelphia, a 50-minute drive north to New York City, 50 minutes east to historical Lancaster County, and less than two hours to the beautiful New Jersey or Delaware shores. Our team is seeking a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist to join the team. Crozer Health Psychotherapy Services provides a supportive patient-centered style of care where individuals receive both psychotherapy and pharmacologic intervention (when deemed appropriate) in a confidential and supportive setting from their psychiatrist.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
- Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- License to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Provides ongoing psychotherapy to an identified caseload of patients.
- Implements evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address diverse mental health challenges
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
- Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Prescribes and manages psychiatric medications as needed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment as needed.
- Stays current with advancements in psychiatric practices and research.
- Participates in case conferences, clinical supervision, and staff meetings when appropriate.
- Provides crisis intervention and support for clients in acute psychiatric distress.
- Adheres to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.

- Proficiency in working with an electronic medical record.
- Office provides administrative support including scheduling, credentialing of provider, billing, etc.)
