Essential Functions:

• Construction and Management of procedure documentation
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
• Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
• Accountable for initiation of proper routine and emergency care as indicated by practice and Family Health West’s policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills appropriately utilizing resources. Consults physicians for advice and utilizes team approach for problem solving.
• Receives and carries out physician orders.
• Assists physicians with medical procedures.
• Safely and correctly performs all procedures within the scope of nursing practices.
• Knowledge of medication dosages, routes, and actions.
• Reordering and stocking supplies and medication inventory as needed.
• Observation of universal precautions
• Recognition, initiation and observation of special precautions.
• Identification of patient needs, planning and implantation of care.
• Direct assistance with any patient care needs.
• Ensure that all records required for admission, consent, discharge, etc. are fully completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete and accurate documentation of assessments, observations, situations and events.
• Provide formal and informal patient education within scope of practice.
• Ensure courteous and professional interactions with the public and other staff members.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

Education:

Education:  Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.

Licenses:  Current unrestricted LPN and IV license with the State of Colorado.

Certifications:  Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Experience: 1-2 years of LPN experience & prior LPN experience in a procedure center/ clinic preferred.

Wage Range : The wage range for this position starts at $27.00 and goes up based on experience.

Immunizations required for employment, including COVID-19.
