Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is for the individual to utilize Physical Therapy knowledge and skills in direct patient assessment, including determination of rehab potential, development of plan of care, and short/ long term goals.

Scope of Responsibility

Physical Therapist utilize appropriate exercise, massage, manipulations and physical agents to aid in executing the established plan of care. Other duties include the ability to document findings in compliance with state and federal requirements. Provides acute care PT to patients on Med/Surg and ICU units as needed. 

Job Requirements

• Must hold a current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Texas
• One year of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in the outpatient and or acute setting
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
• Ability to work and communicate with multiple medical disciplines
