Job Title: Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading rehabilitation facility in Nampa, ID, to find a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT). Responsibilities:

• Patient Care and Treatment:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and functional abilities.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans for each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to build strong therapeutic relationships and foster a positive rehabilitation environment.
• Documentation and Technology:
  • Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR system for efficient and accurate documentation, reporting, and data collection.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all federal, state, and insurance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Required: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Idaho.
  • Preferred: CPR certification.
• Skills and Experience:
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in an outpatient setting are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and other relevant technologies.
