**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Media, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals at an outpatient level, diagnosed with a mental health disorder. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and group sessions, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with mental health diagnoses.
- Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and other staff members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based practices to improve quality of care to clients
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Candidates seeking licensure as an LPC or LCSW encouraged to apply. LPC supervision provided for individual's seeking licensure in Pennsylvania.
- At least one year experience required. Practicum and internship counts as experience if in a mental health outpatient setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
