One of our clients located in Upper Darby, PA is looking for a Outpatient Clinical Coordinator to join their team.
Type: HC-Full-Time/ Perm
Schedule: M-F, no weekends, flexible 8-4 or 9-5 or 10-6, possibly one day remote
Location: Upper Darby, PA
Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator has responsibility for the day to day functioning of his/her designated clinical and/or treatment program, as well as providing direct services as necessary.
Duties include supervising program staff and ensuring that services are provided according to best practice standards that promote client recovery.
All areas are primary job functions unless otherwise indicated.
Administration:
Knowledge of the organization and management of clinical and/or treatment services for behavioral health clients.
Knowledge of the agency's policies and procedures.
Effectively implement program goals regarding service delivery.
Conduct regular program staff meetings to meet administrative needs of the program.
Knowledge of the agency's primary software systems.
Use Word, Excel, Clinician's Desktop and Groupwise effectively.
Ability to maintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisor.
Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor
Human Resources:
Ability to train staff to effectively conduct their work responsibilities
Orient all new program staff to the agency policy and procedures, the program's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and licensure/regulatory/contractual demands of the program.
Knowledge of the required staff qualifications for all program positions.
Maintain adequate staffing to ensure efficient and quality services and the maintenance of program needs.
Maintain an effective work schedule to provide full program coverage and productivity.
Ensure that sufficient inservice training is provided to all program staff, consistent with program and individual staff needs.
Knowledge of staff performance evaluation processes and ability to document staff compliance with requisite performance standards.
Conduct annual performance evaluations and 90-day probationary evaluations.
Communicate HR-approved personnel disciplinary actions, as necessary, consistent with agency personnel policy.
Ability to maintain compliance with all required training requirements and personnel documentation standards.
Complete all required trainings as per Professional Development Plan.
Submit to Human Resources copies of all required documentation regarding degree, licenses, certifications, clearances and formal trainings.
Quality Assurance:
Knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures governing the operation of their program
Maintain program in full compliance with all applicable licensing standards, contractual requirements and all agency policies.
Assist supervisor in evaluating program effectiveness and developing annual program plan.
Maintain documentation of program compliance with Performance Improvement indicators, census and other utilization data.
Customer Relations:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, their families, payers, community support service representatives, and agencies.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers and community support service representatives and agencies.
Participate in interagency meetings and represent the agency in an effective and professional manner.
Development:
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to work within a group to develop internal systems to improve or ensure quality services.
Develops formal proposals to meet developing and ongoing program needs.
Participate in agency committees.
Fiscal Management:
Knowledge of basic budgeting principles and ability to monitor agency compliance with active, approved budget.
Ensure that program service delivery and program operating costs are within budgeted parameters.
Monitor program spending and minimize all unnecessary program costs.
Monitor an inventory of all program equipment, furnishings, and other property; reporting any need for replacement or repair in a timely manner
Operations:
Ability to supervise direct service staff in a psychosocial service program.
Knowledge of the basic principles and aims of counseling.
Provide direct supervision to program staff, individually and group-based, on a regular basis.
Maintain 24-hour availability to program staff and management for emergency consultation.
Provide back-up supervisory support to other programs, as needed.
Provide direct service to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
Outpatient Supervisor experience required.
Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol experience preferred.
2 years of managerial experience required.
Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Good leadership skills.
Professional licensure preferred, but not required.
Minimum Education: Masters degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline.
Minimum Experience: Three years post-degreed experience in the behavioral health field, with one year of increasing supervisory responsibility.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred.
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance and Criminal clearance, fingerprint based federal criminal history , Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
Physical requirements:

Valid driver's license and ability to drive
