A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STAFF NURSE - OUTPATIENT CLINIC

As a staff nurse at our outpatient clinic, you support the physician while putting patients at ease. You evaluate symptoms, either in person or on the phone, and perform triage according to your findings. You take vitals, enter data, and perform other nursing duties, all while delivering compassionate and efficient care.

You feel great about bringing a sense of hope and healing to our patients while enjoying the camaraderie of being part of a great team! You utilize managed care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology, and extended service providers, including specialists, hospitals, skilled nursing providers, and other ancillary services. You also complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in EMR systems to abstract for hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A STAFF NURSE - OUTPATIENT CLINIC

• Current LPN Florida license
• 1 + year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Bachelor's degree in health or business administration OR an additional 4 years of comparable work experience
• CPR certification
• IV certification
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM

Knowledge of eClinicalWorks would be a plus. The ability to speak Spanish and knowledge about medical equipment and maintenance would also be highly desirable. WORK SCHEDULE FOR

This LPN nursing position enjoys a rewarding work-life-balanced schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. We offer part-time hours as well.
