About the Job
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Evaluation and treatment of variety of adult patient diagnoses in the acute hospital setting. Diagnoses include general deconditioning, Total Joint replacement, post op ortho; some neuro diagnoses; general medical-surgical; Coverage support for SNF facilities at Neilson Place and Blackduck MN providing coverage to facility residents requiring skilled therapy services.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
EPIC for electronic medical record (Acute Care); Casamba/NetHealth or LTC environments
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Experience in the acute care setting preferred; 1 year of experience in the past 3 years preferred but not required
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
MN Occupational Therapy Licensure; BLS-AHA
Shift or schedule requirements.
M-F, day shift; no call or weekends; occasionally may be the only Occupational Therapist at a location in LTC phone support is available at all times.
Floating to over units/departments.
Will be combined inpatient and LTC support needs
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
Hospital licensed for 118 but therapy caseload typically averages approximately 30-40 patients; Neilson Place is a 60 bed SNF, Blackduck GSS a 30 bed SNF.

Charcoal grey scrubs or business casual
