Job Title: OSP Telecommunications Lineman

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced OSP (Outside Plant) Telecommunications Lineman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications lines and equipment. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground telecommunications lines.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
• Climb poles and work at heights using safety equipment.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including bucket trucks and cable splicing tools.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunications lines and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in telecommunications is a plus.
• Proven experience as a telecommunications lineman or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, equipment, and industry standards.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
