OSM Engineer - Insight Global

Insight Global is looking for an OSM (Off Site Manufacturing) Engineer to join their semiconductor team in South Portland, OR! The primary responsibility of this individual is to ensure that the OSM facility is in alignment with program requirements. This includes reviewing change orders with design and construction teams.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Project or Construction Manager supporting Electrical and Mechanical system buildouts
• Experience supporting Semiconductor or other high-tech industrial infrastructure or facility
• OSM / Module engineering development experience or interaction in: Pre-Fabrication, Pre-Assembly, Offsite Manufacturing and Offsite Construction
• Bachelors Degree in related field

Day to Day:

• Own, execute and deliver OSM (QA/QC) Scope of Work on the assigned project.
• Work closely with design teams, supply chain management and general contractor to move construction scope to more efficient supplier-based or offsite fabrication facilities.
• Lead, oversee and supervise all OSM activities in entire project cycle from pre-construction planning to module shops/yards fabrication and assembly to site installation and commissioning. Interact and interface with other functions and effective communication and problem-solving to OSM-related engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction issues.
• Develop OSM technical bidding package and participate OSM Supplier and Module Yard (MY) selection and provide recommendations in decision making process.
• Work closely with on-site construction team in planning OSM/module job site

Compensation:

$50/hr to $64/hr
