Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice in the state of California
- Minimum 2+ years of PA experience required
- Proven experience working in Orthopedics is required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and medical staff is crucial
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Performing physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
- Providing pre and post operative care (this particular role will be 100% clinical, first assist experience is not required)
- Providing patient education on orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conducting research to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthopedics and sports medicine.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
