Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon Opportunity offering $150,000 Sign On/Med Ed bonus:

Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a board certified or board eligible orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon to join our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine department. Primary responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical care for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who suffer from upper extremity musculoskeletal injuries.  This physician must possess procedural competence to enhance the function of patients affected body parts, heal injuries, and alleviate pain, which includes treatment of chronic and acute injuries in patients.  

The Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practices are large and high volume in the region, with a total of 8 employed orthopedic surgeons including 3 fellowship trained in sports medicine, 1 general orthopedists, 1 fellowship trained in total joint replacements, and 3 fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma.  The orthopedic service line is experiencing growth and needs an upper extremity and hand specialist in orthopedics.  The call model includes 7-10 days of dedicated hand call per month at our level 1 trauma location.
