Job Title: Originations Assistant
Location: Southbury, Connecticut
Department: Originations
Job Overview:
The Originations Assistant will complete the loan application process from start to finish for potential and
existing clients, preparing, analyzing, and verifying applications for the lease or refinance of vehicles.
The Assistant will also function as a liaison between the Sales Team and the other departments within the organization along with servicing client and dealer needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Originations
1. Providing Customer Service
2. Quoting for Regions
3. Processing Credit Applications
4. Reviewing Credit Application with Underwriting as necessary
5. Tracking Deals in Process
6. Preparing Worksheets
7. Submitting Credit Applications to Banks
8. Obtaining Necessary Information to Acquire Approvals and/or meet stipulations
9. Coordinating Private Party Sale Transactions
10. Assisting Sales Staff with Administrative Needs
11. Providing Sales Staff with Sales History Reports, etc. as necessary
12. Responding to Sales Manager’s Needs
13. Preparing Agendas and Minutes for Sales Meetings
14. Updating Residual Guide Sheets and Residual Database on a Monthly Basis
15. Copying & Scanning Deals for the Bank
Preparing Leases for Customers/Dealers
1. Prepping Numbers
2. Completing Lease Checklist (first two columns)
3. Preparing and Sending Leases
Preparing Leases to Be Funded
1. Obtaining Proof of Insurance
2. Obtaining Dealer Documents
3. Obtaining any required DMV Documents
4. Arranging for Private Party Transactions
5. Preparing Overnight Airbills
6. Sending Notification of Funding to Regional Sales Manager
Reporting and Meetings
1. Assisting Originations Manager with Reporting as needed
2. Attending Weekly Sales Meetings
3. Attending Skype Sessions with Regional Sales Managers
Required Skills/Abilities:
