About the Job
1. Prepares and cleans up after all meal trays in all assigned areas. Assists teachers with cooking-related projects. Responsible for safe and sanitary handling of food, dishes, trays , equipment, and supplies.
2. Cleans and sanitizes classrooms, including toys, classroom materials, and children's sleeping mats as needed.
3. Washes, folds, and organizes classroom clothing and bedding.
4. Cleaning chemical product knowledge/usage: i.e, knows name and purpose of products/tools to use in specific areas assigned for cleaning the following surfaces: tile/hard surface floors and counter surfaces, upholstered furniture, carpets and wooden surfaces. 5. Demonstrates successful completion of related work/performance criteria and education, including but not limited to checking emails weekly and completing specific competencies. 6. Maintains positive and open channels of communications with all co-workers. Consistently adheres to Hospital's \"Standards of Behavior\" and \"Code of Conduct\" as well as to Child Care Services \"Commitment to my Co-Worker.\"
7. Responsible for understanding and remaining compliant with all department policies.
QUALIFICATIONS

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Preferred: High school diploma.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: California Food Handlers Card or ServSafe certificate.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Preferred: Knowledge of proper use of cleaning fluids
