Job Title: Warehouse Associate, Order Fulfillment
Department: Operations
Reports to: Manager, Operations
Supervises: N/A
Job Family: Independent Contributor
Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Summary of Position:
Fulfill orders per Plan of the Day (POD).
Position Responsibilities:
- Pull orders using handheld scanner and electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Stage orders for deliveries and pickups in designated locations.
- Contribute with other staff members to maintaining the order and cleanliness of all warehouse locations.
- Report discrepancies in inventory and damaged/spoiled products to Inventory Control team.
- At the end of each day, communicate any incomplete work.
- Engage positively with all levels of Food Bank staff.
- Operate forklift and other powered equipment as trained and assigned.
- Operate other Food Bank equipment as trained and assigned.
- Immediately report performance issues observed or experienced with any Food Bank powered equipment, vehicle, device, or tool.
- Communicate unexpected situations to a manager.
- Execute FBSJ-specific technology following appropriate training.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
- No field experience is required but warehouse experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift is preferred.
- Able to work in varying temperatures (dry storage warehouse, cooler, and freezer).
- Able to successfully complete and achieve passing grades for required food safety training programs.
- Able to safely lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to be certified for use of electric pallet jack and forklift.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
