Job Overview:
The Order Processing and Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are entered accurately and processed efficiently. You will act as a liaison between sales, logistics, and customers to guarantee customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
- Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, and delivery timelines with professionalism.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of order details, invoicing, and shipment tracking.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for post-order customer interactions, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly address and rectify order discrepancies or issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are prepared and shipped as promised.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in order processing, customer service, or a related role, ideally within an industrial or technical environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or technical training is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with order management software and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of industrial products and order workflows is preferred.
