Position Type: Full-time Contract, Contract to Hire

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Lynchburg, VA

As an Order Management, you will:

• Inputs and processes orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact.
• Maintains customer files with sales contract and other information.
• Distributes order sheets to respective departments.
• Coordinates with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.
• Tracks sales shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities.
• Interfaces with customers in response to inquiries regarding status of orders.
• Resolves customer order difficulties and ensures customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

Overall Summary:

• Developing support individual contributor. Works under general supervision.
• Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
• Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
• Nature of Supervision Works under general supervision.
• Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is required.
• Communication & Influence Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
• Innovation & Complexity Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
• Follows established processes to complete tasks.
• Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
• Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
• Organization Impact Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
• Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Requires a High School Diploma.

Pay Range*: $22-$25 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
