Order Entry Specialist at TEKsystems

Work Environment

100% onsite. Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm shift with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.

Responsibilities

• Process customer quotes, purchase orders, RMAs, and related tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates to customers.
• Identify and prioritize issues, coordinating with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure timely solutions.
• Maintain a strong follow-up system and handle scheduled callbacks.
• Assist outside sales representatives with quotations, proposals, and customer inquiries.
• Document and communicate customer interactions in the company database.
• Proactively promote products and services through various channels and share opportunities with the sales team.
• Support the RMA process and address customer concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Handle 30-40 calls a day, adjusting based on daily needs.
• Manage online chats daily, providing prompt responses.
• Process 5-20 orders a day with 2-10 line items on average.
• Support all product lines, including over 1,000 SKUs and hundreds of parts.
• Provide customers with rough quotes without purchase orders.
• Manage details on taxes for quoting and orders that need to be applied.

Qualifications:

• Recent order entry experience
• ERP system proficiency
• Customer support experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
