We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Order Entry Clerk to join our team in the fast-paced construction industry. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in a bustling environment. As a Permanent Order Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing all order entries, providing critical support to our sales and construction teams. If you have a knack for precision and a passion for contributing to a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurately and efficiently enter and process all orders in the company's database.
2. Coordinate with the sales and construction teams to ensure all orders are accurate and up-to-date.
3. Maintain and update customer files, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
4. Review all orders for discrepancies and rectify any issues promptly.
5. Assist in the preparation of regular reports on order status.
6. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or issues relating to orders.
7. Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure all necessary materials are ordered and delivered on time.
8. Follow company procedures and protocols for order entries.
9. Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates and feedback on order entry processes.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
4. Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
7. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
9. Experience in filing and maintaining records.
10. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
