SUMMARY of the FUNCTION/Role
Plan, Develop, document and implement the numerous software enhancements and additional features requested for TABIS (Transit Adjudication Bureau Information System) as required and specified by TAB in the TABIS Phase II project.
a follow-on Phase II project was created to implement 64 new operational software features and enhancements. Phase II encompasses designing and developing software code to implement the features and enhancements as described in the TAB Business Requirements Documents, as well as code debug, system test, user acceptance tests (UAT), and working with TAB to resolve UAT issues and code rework.
All work will be done in a collaborative professional project management structure and team to insure customer satisfaction and on-time, on-budget project completion

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, debug and document software as necessary to implement all new capabilities as defined by TABIS. Assist and participate in UAT.
- Create quality technical and user documentation in a timely manner
- Perform analysis of business processes, business and system requirements and system design as needed to develop software that supports TAB's requirements
- Employ structured modeling techniques and tools to describe business functions, processes, information and technology designs
- Attend and actively contribute in meetings related to project
- Support and adhere to PMO/PDLC project mgmt. guidelines, processes and deliverables

- Minimal to no risk: Consultants will be working in an office at NYC location with no outside or off-site field visits required.
- This work will not be performed within 50 ft of track right of way
- The work area will not involve areas with environmental risks (lead, asbestos) - substantial or minimal.

Qualifications EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum 5 years experience in .net/Oracle software development
- Detailed understanding and experience with ITIL processes and structured program management (PMI)
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint and Project (2010 or higher)
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with technical and non technical/business peers and managers.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a fast pace milestone driven environment
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines; a self-starter
