Oracle Forms PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary: The qualified applicant will become part of Systems Implementers software development team, to help maintain and develop MABSM; an ERP system used to track maintenance, repair and overhaul of assets at Hill Air Force Base. The applicant will also have the opportunity to be mentored by an exceptional team of engineers with experience in a variety of industries. This is an on-site position.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with Subject Matter Experts:

• Develop working forms prototypes
• Develop database functions, packages and procedures
• Manage user review and modify products to meet user requirements
• Collaborate with other developers for support, ideas, code review and adherence to standards
• Participate in database modeling and design activities
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical people to design and implement system changes
• Prepare scenarios and methods for QA testing

Required Skills and Education:

• Expertise with Oracle Forms 5+ years to develop large-scale applications
• Expertise with SQL 5+ years
• Expertise with PL/SQL 5+ years
• Expertise with database interface 5+ years
• Experience with application development
• Experience with Oracle or Postgres in an enterprise environment
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to problem-solve
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to work on-site at Hill Air Force Base

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Loading and manipulating data including SQL*loader
• Exporting data and Data Modeling
• Experience working on Agile software development projects (i.e. using Sprint or Kanban methodologies)
• Experience working with GIT

Qualifications that can be developed in the position:

• Experience designing data structures and/or user interfaces
• Certification in any of: CSSLP, CISSP, CASP, or Scrum Master
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
