Job Title: Oracle DBA (oracle database administrator)
Location: Jersey City, NJ

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should have
Minimum 8 years of real-time oracle DBA experience and currently working as Oracle DBA
Ability to work with global teams in multiple time zones
Experience with agile methodology
Experience with maintenance of a distributed Oracle Database System/RAC
Experience in all aspects of Oracle implementation
Good communication skills and ability to engage with clients at various levels of technical personnel, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and senior-level stakeholders as required
Proficiency in Database administration features of Oracle versions 12c and 19c
Installed and Maintained Oracle database on multiple platforms (preferably Unix platforms)
Experience in capacity planning of large to very large databases
Sound knowledge in Backup and Restore strategies for large and very large databases
Expertise in Oracle built-in performance tuning parameters and reports (AWR, Statspack, etc)
Expertise with performance optimization of SQL and Stored Procedures
Sound knowledge of User roles and Oracle resource management groups
Experience in DB2 (Optional)
