Job Description
We seek an experienced Oracle Functional System Administrator to oversee the functional administration and support of Oracle Cloud Fusion (OCF). The role involves daily operational support, ticket management, implementing SOX controls, and ensuring optimal performance of the Oracle ERP system. This position will work closely with finance, IT, and audit teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle Cloud Financials (OCF) Support:
Provide functional support for Oracle Cloud Financial modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Risk Management Cloud.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCF modules, configurations, and integrations.
Ticket Management:
Monitor and resolve daily support tickets within the SLA timeframe.
Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective solutions.
Document resolutions and updates in the ticketing system.
Functional Administration:
Maintain system configurations and setups, including user access, roles, and permissions.
Support testing of patches, updates, and new implementations in Oracle ERP.
Assist in workflow configurations, report customizations, and system improvements.
SOX Controls and Compliance:
Implement and maintain SOX-compliant controls within the Oracle ERP system.
Conduct periodic audits and user access reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze system usage and identify opportunities for process optimization.
Participate in cross-functional projects and enhancements to streamline financial workflows.
Keep abreast of Oracle ERP updates, best practices, and new features.
Qualifications:
Skills Needed:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials functional support or administration.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (OCF) or Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in managing Oracle ERP configurations, workflows, and roles.
Familiarity with ticketing systems like Ivanti or ServiceNow.
Understanding of SOX controls and compliance frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials.
Experience with financial process improvement and automation tools.
Knowledge of integrations between Oracle ERP and third-party systems.
