DataFielder Inc., is currently recruiting for an Oracle BRM Lead Developer on a long-term contract basis. This position can be based onsite in either Miami, FL or Dallas, TX.
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle BRM Lead Developer to architect, develop, and manage the Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) system in alignment with business goals. This role involves leading a development team, ensuring system performance and data integrity, and collaborating closely with offshore teams to provide 24x7 support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of the Oracle BRM system to meet business requirements and maintain industry standards.
- Oversee the development team, offering technical guidance and ensuring coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Customize and configure BRM modules, including creating configuration scripts and workflows tailored to specific business needs.
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance for high availability and reliability.
- Engage in strategic planning to align BRM initiatives with overarching business objectives.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning.
- Manage incident response, addressing service requests promptly and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data integrity and security, implementing measures to prevent data breaches and protect customer information.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle BRM, including architecture and development.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on identifying root causes of complex issues.
- Proven leadership experience, especially in guiding development teams and collaborating with offshore resources.
- Expertise in BRM customization, configuration scripting, and system performance optimization.
- Familiarity with data security practices and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Oracle BRM certifications or related qualifications are preferred.
- Prior experience with 24x7 support models and working with offshore teams is a plus.
