Top must have skills:
- 5-8 year Core PL-SQL Developer
- Experience working within Linux server environments (Redhat 5.x and higher)
- Experience developing applications against enterprise databases (Oracle 11g R2 or higher mandatory)
- Strong understanding of SQL, data querying, database structures, data optimization, file and data transport (SFTP, FTP, XML, web services, etc.) and best practices in data security/protection are expected.
- Experience working with and supporting business intelligence environments is highly preferred
Exposure to working within a team--based, Agile / Scrum development organization is highly preferred - Proven experience working with a development team supporting a multi-tier environment (Production, QA, Development)
Other required skills :
- Exposure to an Oracle Application Express (APEX) development environment is a plus, but not mandatory
- Provide 3rd tier technical support for systems via phone, email and/or a desktop support application; -may involve occasional after--hours and weekend support that would be required to address emergency issues.
- Participate in planning, execution and testing of new application development, functional enhancements, system optimization, and integration of systems with 3rd party applications and data
- Collaborate with internal and external resources (IT team members, vendors, 3rd party service providers, external system owners, franchises, etc.) in the application of technology to meet company business needs.
- Follow team methodologies and processes; Coordinate and manage database scripts, packages, code and versioning as required to support scheduled development product releases and enhancements
