POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates all aspects of billing for surgical procedures including supply, instrumentation and equipment costs ensuring accurate revenue charge generation for department.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma required; Business degree preferred. On the job training provided
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
No licensure or certification required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent organization, ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively in English, attention to detail, and basic computer skills required. Medical terminology, surgical/healthcare, software systems knowledge or billing/charge capture experience preferred. Successful completion of annual clinical, age, and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
