Optometrist at Valley Eye Center

We are seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our team to provide patient care to patients in our Van Nuys and Westlake Village offices. We are looking for someone to help build our practice of optometry in both offices. You will perform regular optometric duties as needed in an ophthalmology practice. Our need is immediate.

Responsibilities

• Perform refractions.
• Make pre- and post-op measurements and assessments for surgery patients.
• Prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses (glasses and/or contact lenses).
• Work closely with the rest of the office team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school.
• A valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent listening skills.
• Familiarity with electric medical records systems.
• The ability to work well independently, as well as within a team environment.
