About the Job
We are a well-established private practice with over 25 years of dedicated service throughout Arizona (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, Chandler, Sun City, and Tucson). Due to our expansion, we are looking to add a few experienced Optometrists to our team. All our offices are updated, remodeled, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring the best care for our patients.
Position Overview:
Although a true Pediatric Optometrist is preferred, we welcome any general optometrist who wishes to transition into a pediatric centered role. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, and possess excellent chairside manners.
Our hands-on approach and on-site support team, provide a comfortable/accommodating environment for those not heavily experienced within the pediatric space to develop and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage various ocular conditions and diseases.
- Provide personalized care and treatment plans for young patients.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure understanding of treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow all compliance regulations.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives related to pediatric eye health.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in pediatric optometry is preferred, but general optometrists with a desire to specialize in pediatrics are welcomed.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
