This practice offers full-technician support for their busy office, giving you the opportunity to focus on patient care. Patient care includes comprehensive and follow up eye exams, contact lens exam, or medical exam as well as working on building the practice.
All equipment required to perform a comprehensive examination is provided and includes a brand-new combination laser-scanning retinal imaging and perimetry screening unit.

This practice has a loyal clientele and is searching for a motivated and caring Optometrist! There is room for growth in this practice, & this opportunity provides a potential for revenue sharing with a minimum daily guaranteed rate.

Job Description
Optometrist responsibilities include analyzing vision tests, diagnosing potential vision imparities, and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role, the optometrist should be detail oriented, able to treat patients with kindness and discretion, from young children to the elderly.
Note that to be considered for this position, you need to be a licensed optometrist, or in the process of acquiring your Optometrist License. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
•Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma
•Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to visual imparities based on each patient’s specific case and medical history
•Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses
•Advise patients on proper eye care techniques
•Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients
• Advise patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses
• Co-management of patients with local Ophthalmologists
Skills
•Degree in Optometry
•Work experience as an Optometrist
•In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects
•The ability to explain medical terms in a clear and concise manner
•Attention to detail
