Optician at Main Place Optometry

Main Place Optometry is seeking a Full-time, dedicated Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Dispensing glasses and contact lenses
• Performing lensometry
• Assisting with eye care procedures
• Utilizing technology for patient records and communication
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ordering and maintaining inventory
• Handling insurance claims
• Conducting general repairs and adjustments
• Performing various administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Certified Optician or Licensed Dispensing Optician are welcome but not required
• Previous work experience in optometric practices are preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• Strong in general computer and mathematical skills
• High School diploma is minimally required

Salary:    $22 hourly and up (actual wage is based on experience and knowledge presented)
