Our 4000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as retinal cameras, autorefractors, and visual field analysis machines, and we offer a broad selection of eyewear, including children’s eyewear, safety glasses, and contact lenses. Whether it's same-day appointments, LASIK comanagement, or eyewear in under an hour, we are dedicated to providing a premium experience for all of our patients.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Optician/Optical Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of experience in optical sales and dispensing, as well as a strong knowledge of vision insurance. If you're passionate about providing exceptional service and high-quality eyewear to patients, we'd love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame selection, lens fitting, and eyewear customization.
• Process vision insurance claims and verify patient coverage.
• Perform weekly data entry into our EPM software
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
• Collaborate with optometrists to ensure accurate prescriptions and seamless care.
• Stay up to date on the latest eyewear trends and optical products.
• Manage administrative tasks such as patient intake, maintaining patient records, and verifying prescriptions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an optician or in optical sales.
• Strong knowledge of vision insurance (billing, verification, claims).
• Experience with optical dispensing and lens fitting.
• Familiarity and comfort with learning and using software programs 
• (Preferred) Familiarity with EPM systems
• (Preferred) Experience in a high-end optical practice.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; optician certification is not required.
