Optical Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for an Optical Manufacturing Technician for 2nd shift.
• Set up production equipment within the grating station.
• Fabricate and measure opto-electronic devices.
• Complete measurement and production documentation.
• Support engineering on process development activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required. College/Technical degree preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and production testing.
• Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing drawings/process layouts.
• Ability to collect and record measurement data.
• Ability to operate precision measurement equipment.
• Experience working with high power lasers, optics, optical fibers, and/or fusion splicers required.
