Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position serves under the general supervision of the OSTDS Environmental Health Program Consultant, position #64031307 and is responsible for, but not limited to inspections in DOH regulated facilities, complaint investigations, data entry and other activities not requiring professional certification assigned to this position.
The incumbent serves in all environmental health program teams, as needed. Tasks include a ssisting program staff with routine data entry, p erforming standard, routine bookkeeping functions, which may involve a ssisting with permit application processing, record filing and archiving, c onducting non-certified inspections across environmental health programs, among others.
Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with management of other environmental health programs during times of absences. Duties may be required on weekends, holidays or after normal work hours.
Position may require travel to multiple CHDs and various other sites.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knodwledge of data collection and analysis principles and procedures.
Ability to organize and complete tasks associated with multiple work projects running concurrently.
Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Qualifications:

Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather, in heat or cold, for extended periods
