Ophthalmologist needed in Killington/ Rutland, Vermont - American Academy of Ophthalmology

Rutland Regional Medical Center is recruiting a full-time BC/BE Ophthalmologist with potential for a leadership role as a Medical Director. This is a hospital-employed practice that is dynamic and collaborative.

Rutland is in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, just next door to Killington Resort, which offers the longest ski season in the east as well as world-class mountain biking, golf, and hiking. It is 1.5 hours to Burlington, 3 hours to Boston, and 4.5 hours to NYC. Live in a place where others vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Join a very busy hospital-employed practice, with an additional ophthalmologist and optometrist, and a wonderful support team of Certified Ophthalmic Assistants.
• Participate in a competitive based salary with the ability to earn productivity incentive.
• Manage call responsibilities at 1:4 with minimal call burden.
• Utilize assigned OR blocks in a state-of-the-art procedure center to accommodate high volume surgery.
