Operators - Expert Staffing

Expert Staffing is hiring TOP TALENT in Sturbridge & Southbridge. Our clients are hiring Machine Operators, Draw Operators and Surface Operators to join their team.

These are temp to hire positions with growing manufacturing/logistics companies that will offer years of growth.

Shifts: 2nd & 3rd shifts available (M-F 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am)

Pay Rates: $17.54-$18.33

Job Duties:

• Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, location of the feed line, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Responsible for the start-up, operation, clean up and shut down of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Completes documentation during and upon completion of production runs as required
• Inspects finished products for quality
• Identifies and flags defects on product and records on the defect maps.
• Packages, labels and places finished products on skids and bands or stretch wraps finished rolls as required

Operator Skills & Requirements:

• 1-4 years of Machine Operating Experience is required
• Understanding of Calipers and Micrometers is preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Attention to detail
• Ability to pass background & drug screen
