Description
The Operations Support Representative is responsible for timely dissemination of consumer correspondence and electronic storage of the correspondence. In addition, the processing of all bankruptcy paperwork such as legal documents and accurate configuration of cash posting payments.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Daily sorting and distribution of correspondence to the appropriate department manager and director
- Electronic storage of correspondence to the appropriate storage vault and linking to designated consumer account
- Answering inbound phone inquiries and forwarding to the appropriate department or employee
- Investigative reporting on delinquent accounts, and processing of all legal documents
- Accurate posting of payments and coding of consumer accounts
- Responsible for ensuring monetary accuracy and reporting of discrepancies to Utilities Unit Manager
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all consumer information
- Effective communication with other employees in regards to client specific needs and inquiries
- Work efficiently with cash posting employees by assisting with verification of all monetary transactions including money orders and checks.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of cash posting preferred
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate require
