Job Title: Operations Support Administrative Assistant
Location: Ingleside, Texas
Payrate: $25 - $29 per hour
Shift: 6am- 4:30pm (30 minute lunch)
Monday - Thursday (4 - 10 hour days)
PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Operations Support Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative resource/support for all members of the Operations team to ensure maximum productivity in performing their functions as dictated by regulatory agencies, the corporation, and the plant. The Operations Support Administrative Assistant will maintain smooth day-to-day operation of the general office functions in a way that assures compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and deadlines in an efficient and timely manner that models the Corpus Christi site work environment initiative.

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or Associates Degree or higher in a related field
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and learning new computer software systems.
- Ability to multi-task and work with rapidly changing and competing work priorities
- Experience generating effective written and oral communications in a professional environment.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Perform functions as necessary to manage the administrative demands in the general day to day operation of the Operations group.
- Manage the review/revision process for the Area Operating Manuals, Technical Standards, PSRM Manual, Distribution Manual, and Quality How Manual.
- Maintain a tracking spreadsheet to track procedures in need of review to ensure none go past due.
- Assign procedures due for review to site personnel prior to the due date.
- Incorporate changes to procedures identified in the review/revision process. Place issued procedures in their respective manual.
- Keep electronic and hard copy manuals up to date.
- Track Temporary Operating Procedures in a spreadsheet and distribute them to the Shift Supervisors
- Maintain proficiency in Reliance to assist site personnel when requested. Input action items into the database.
- Coordinate meetings and site visits. (Order food, book conference rooms, send meeting invites).
- Enhance skills and receive training as necessary to perform job responsibilities most efficiently.
- Order office supplies when needed.
- Participate on plant committees.
