Salary range: $90k-$110 (based on experience)
Work Schedule: M-F, 1st shift, onsite position
Location: Springfield, NJ
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily activities of the department and managing the efficiency of employes.
Training and supervising employees.
Monitor department’s compliance with operational policies.
Planning and executing departmental budgets.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces company policy and practices.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet schedules.
Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or services, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Prepares reports and records on department activities for management.
Qualifications: Requires BS in engineering with an understanding of electromechanical assemblies and high pressure Pneumatic/Hydraulic testing, Soldering, mechanical drawing, shop practices, etc.
Minimum of 5 yrs. Experience is required to include time in related preparatory classifications to become familiar with products, methods and techniques employed in assembly operations and essential to qualify technically for supervisory responsibilities.
Must have aviation experience.
Physical Requirements: High mix between hands-on work and working at a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
