Responsibilities:
- Supervise night shift operations, ensuring all activities adhere to operational and safety procedures.
- Coordinate and direct the production team to meet production targets and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain a strong focus on food safety, ensuring all processes comply with SQF and other relevant standards.
- Monitor product quality, implementing corrective actions where necessary to minimize waste and maintain high standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to align operational activities and optimize overall performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, capacity, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as industry regulations and legislation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Proven knowledge and experience with food safety, Quality, and SQF.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
