As an Operations Supervisor at Nok, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
What you"ll do
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring all operational duties are carried out efficiently and accurately.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth.
Warehouse Operations Management:
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient logistics processes.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce strict safety protocols and best practices to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies governing warehouse operations.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Implement process enhancements and operational strategies to optimize workflows and meet productivity goals.
Quality Control:
Oversee quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the required standards before shipment.
Implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce errors and improve overall product quality.
Communication:
Collaborate with other department leads and managers to maintain effective cross-zone communication.
Report regularly to senior management on warehouse performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred
Previous experience (typically 2-4 years) in warehouse operations, with some experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant technology.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in a warehouse setting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff at all levels and external partners.
