Operations Supervisor/Dispatch

As an operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for dispatch operations, working flexible hours as needed, multitasking, communicating with drivers for driver retention, organizing daily pickups, updating load deviations to operations, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Be responsible for dispatch operations

-          Work flexible hours as needed including weekends

-          Multitask order entry

-          Communicate effectively with drivers for driver retention

-          Organize daily pickups (Local, Regional, Outbound, Inbound)

-          Update any load deviations to operations

-          Post loads

-          Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail

-          Planning/Scheduling dispatch drivers

-          Willing to cross train to all dispatch positions

-          Lead and direct others

QUALIFICATIONS

-          Minimum 5 years of experience in a Logistics environment

-          Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-          Self-starter with a team player mentality

-          Organized and detailed oriented

-          “PC Miler” knowledge a plus

-          “Truck Mate” Knowledge system a plus
