**Job Description: Operations Specialist – DTC Settlements**

The Operations Specialist is responsible for processing and settling security trades at DTC. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing trade settlement, SPO processing, client communication, and reconciliation for equities, corporate fixed income, and commercial paper.

- Processing deliver and receive orders with brokers/banks and meeting daily deadlines.

- Verifying trade details against broker presentations using the Sonic system.

- Resolving discrepancies and escalating high-value issues to management.

- Communicating effectively with clients and counterparties to minimize risk.

- Providing superior client service and contributing to management reporting.

- Identifying efficiencies to enhance productivity and participating in process improvement initiatives.

**Skills Required:**

- Strong PC skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to manage time efficiently, work under pressure, and multitask in a team environment.

**Schedule:** Hybrid (3 days in Jersey City office, 2 days remote)
