Operations Manager - Opus Services

Operations Manager needed to help build and lead a team in a new manufacturing facility launching in the Indy area. Huge opportunity for impact, and for someone to be creative in shaping operations. Chance to get in on the ground floor, and put your stamp on the successful operation of a new high tech and highly automated production environment. Clean & FDA regulated environment. This role will report to the Plant Manager and be a key member of the leadership team. Your reports will be Production / Shift Supervisors across multiple shifts, but this is a daytime position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is happy to get out on the plant floor with their team, owning high-level planning and budgeting, working closely with engineering, maintenance, HR leadership to develop and implement effective processes, and create development plans for people on your team.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree required (engineering, technical, operations related preferred, but flexible)
• 5+ years of experience managing / leading manufacturing.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules
• Strong leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in regulated production environments (FDA / GMP preferred, food, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, etc.)
